FIC: Puzzle Pieces [TatsuIshiHime] 01/01
Title: Puzzle Pieces
Author: Cella
Fandom:BLEACH
Ship: Tatsuki/Ishida/Orihime
Rating: PG-13
Summary: People don‘t ask why puzzle pieces fit together. They just do. ORIHIME. ISHIDA. TATSUKI. But Orihime will know, because Orihime always knows.
Spoilers: Nothing but hints.
Dedications: To Seren, because I love her. And to Manda-sensei, the best Tatsuki ever.
A/N: The threesome whore has returned! || This fic isn’t supposed to make sense, it’s just supposed to be, like the people in it. I’m not looking for characterizations, or plot (for once), so let it be, and enjoy your drink.
Ishida didn’t much expect anything he got, nor did he feel particularly worthy of it. So when Orihime kissed him one day, and told him she thought they should have lunch together, he knew that was his end. She’d be the death of him, countless times, but he was nothing if not eager for that particular challenge. And Orihime would say she loved him one week, and the next day, Ishida would find her kissing Tatsuki, both girls crying as they embraced--and Ishida would think, heroic little prince that he could be, that really, if Orihime was happy, he would leave her. So he told this to Orihime, later, he told her you can have Tatsuki, if she makes you more happy, and Orihime, serious and in control of her destiny, and his, and everyone’s, would say but I love you both, and because Ishida couldn’t deny anything to dear, sweet Orihime, he’d give it a try. He would never expect to enjoy it as much as he does.

Puzzle Pieces
In the end, it’s better not to ask.
Orihime will know when Tatsuki is feeling sad, because Orihime always knows, it’s what all the Orihime’s in this world do, Tatsuki reasons. So when Tatsuki slams the door to their bedroom, rushing out, leaving a flurry of clothes (sometimes sheets) behind her, Orihime will know what to do. And later, Tatsuki will accept the ice-cream Orihime is shoving into her mouth, if only because the girl is using her own lips as a spoon. So when Ishida comes to the kitchen, to find her, and apologize, Tatsuki will be too busy kissing the angel of her life, and smearing dark chocolate ice-cream on Orihime's body, for her (or him, too, actually) to clean up later.
Tatsuki always knew Orihime’d end up with Ishida, really, because Ichigo was too much of a dumbass, and too little of a prince in shiny armour for Orihime’s needs. But it still hurt when it happened. And she remembers it perfectly, even now--Orihime had been smiling that day, as they had lunch with all their friends, smiling because somehow Ishida’s hand had ended up around her waist, not that anyone asked, since it was Ishida and Orihime, and everyone knew it’d happen, so why bother? It had seemed so normal for them to get together, that Tatsuki didn’t even need to see them kiss to know it was love. Which was better, because if she did see them kissing, she’d have died of heartbreak.
Orihime sometimes wonders how she knew to pick them, really, when just years back she’d promised a boy with red hair that she’d love him in five lives. But he had been asleep, really, and what kind of prince charming sleeps during a confession like that. And maybe five lives, or six, or one, were too many, because what is it worth if he doesn’t even see her suffering for him? So when she realises that Ishida looks at her always, and starts to remember the past, she isn’t surprised to find out that Ishida loves her. Probably always had. So why not give him a chance? It’s more than her failed loved one ever gave her. And later on, when Tatsuki’s sad, and Orihime asks her why, Tatsuki will say I don’t want to give you away, and Orihime will know Tatsuki loves her, also. And because her heart is big, Orihime will kiss Tatsuki, and cry, in happiness, or sadness, or astonishment, or hope--she doesn’t know. And later on, much, much later, Ishida, and Orihime, and Tatsuki, will be able to lay on a bed, will be able to say I love you to each other, will be able to fall asleep, cocooned in that warmth that is them.
But of course, that will be much later. For now, it’s easier not to ask.
